Ten years ago I would never have believed I would be where I am now. I didn’t even like horses then. Now, between raising & training, horses, and Drill Team, I guess you could say, I do horses. Besides becoming a better rider and horseman, I’ve learned patience. If only the people in this world were as trusting, loving, and ready to learn & work as horses are…..My wife and I are the owners of Roselake Ranch, and the founders of Roselake Drill Team. I enjoy helping people to better their horsemanship skills. Drill Team definitely does that. I hope everyone can have the opportunity to enjoy horses the way my family and I do.

I have been horse crazy all my life. The things I would do to get the opportunity to ride when I was young. I’m living my dream now. My husband and I own a horse ranch with plenty of horses to spare. My whole family rides and does Drill Team. I have a soft spot for abused and neglected horses. The majority of the 22 Roselake Ranch Drill horses have been rehabilitated and given a job to do. It’s amazing how forgiving horses can be. Give a little love, respect, and direction, and horses improve and respond incredibly. My Drill Horse-in-the-making, Gambler, is one of those. He has been a fulfilling and ongoing project for me. We have overcome fearful, flighty, and blow up at anything. He amazes me every day. There is nothing like ending a day where we both have learned. I thank God for the wonderful family and friends that share this life of horses with me.
